Guests at this event witll have the opportunity to learn about and sample different varieties of wine from the Piemonte region of Italy, while enjoying a four-course pairing menu created by our talented chefs. Opici Wine representative Chris Rizzo will lead the evening’s event.

Villa Rosa Gavi di Gavi, 100% Cortese, Piedmont, IT
This is a fragrant, dry white wine with nuances of apple and melon on the nose. Medium-bodied, it is studded with stone fruit flavors and mineral qualities that extend through the crisp, clean finish. Vinified entirely in stainless steel, it is released young and enjoyed soon after.
Paired with: Tempura Shrimp. Mixed Greens, Tropical Salsa.
Viberti Barbera d’Alba, 100% Barbera, Piedmont, IT
Cherry and almond flavors are abundant in this bright, clean and pleasant bouquet. Made from 40-year-old vines, it is well-balanced on the palate and displays a great acidity, which is supported by its alcohol content. Aged for 15 months in toni and refined in the bottle for an additional 4, this wine can be cellared for up to 10 years in the bottle.
Paired with: Grouper Casoulet. White Beans, Short Ribs, Celery, Onion, Carrots, Diced Asparagus, Red and White Wine Reduction.
Travaglini Costa della Sesia Nebbiolo, 100% Nebbiolo, Piedmont, IT
This pomegranate red wine has delicate mineral notes with hints of violet, rose, and licorice. It’s well-balanced with silky tannins and a long, smooth finish. The wine is aged for 4 months in stainless steel tanks and then additional 10 months in Slovenian oak casks.
Paired with: Rib Eye Steak. Creamy Risotto, Roasted Porcini Mushrooms, Red Cabbage, Port Wine Reduction.
Villa Rosa Moscato d’Asti, 100% Moscato, Piedmont, IT
Moscato grapes are harvested from the southern-facing hillside vineyards that surround the town of Santo Stefano Belbo in Piedmont. Villa Rosa Moscato is frizz ante, or lightly sparkling, with an aromatic bouquet of sweet peach and apricot, and delicate mineral properties. It’s a pleasantly sweet, yet refreshing ending to a great meal.
Paired with: House Made Creme Brulee. Fresh Strawberry.
